Munich Re und Schwarzkopf using DC-X "Intelligent Content Providing"

"Munich Re" and "Schwarzkopf International" are new clients of Digital Collections (DC) Media-Asset-System "DC-X". While DC does the management and hosting of their systems DC´s partner company Roba-Press (Roba) manages the services for picture handling, picture search and rights management.

DC operates a DC-X system with Data taken from legacy systems as well as new pictures from various sources. The current users of the system are the employees of the company's "Corporate Publishing" department, which is producing centrally all print and online material for marketing purposes of the group's products. DC-X is used for the management of the purchased artwork, the monitoring of expiration dates for individual licensing and individual images.

The images acquisition, rights management and image search are centrally managed by Roba Press. Roba works with the built-in DC-X workflow for execution of search orders by the customer. A further increase in the use of the data set of DC-X is on the existing corporate intranet via technical interfaces in the pipeline.

 

Schwarzkopf Professional Hair Care (SKP)


SKP is a branch company of the Henkel Group and distributes high-quality hair care products exclusively to business customers. The company has a global presence with local sales units. SKP is using DC-X as a content pool for images as well as video footage with integrated rights management for the videos and photo shots of models and product photos. The management of contractual agreements between model agency photographer and the client is technically realized with the integrated rights management tool of DC-X, while Roba coordinates the management of rights and provides other services for SKP. Per image and footage, the customer can see contractual terms and conditions for monitoring and renewalsDC-X is also used for preparing the recordings for the selection of the photographic material during the shootings and the resulting group-wide coordination between the global sales units.
