New Features in DC-X version 1.8.0
DC-X integrates news monitoring, research, archiving, workflows and content creation, all intelligently in one system. And it does this equally for online and print applications and mobile devices.

Our new, improved workflow management means that tasks are now easier to assign, and their status in the production workflow can be easily changed.
DC-X also uses a special rights monitoring system to assign contract documents. For example, you can automatically link the contractually agreed conditions with a particular photographer and their images. As well as assigning territorial or time-based validity of rights, you can also issue embargoes or remove images from circulation when their rights expire.

And to help incorporate intelligent semantic searches even more closely into the workflow, we have simplified the user interface. Related content is automatically suggested, and can now be pulled into production faster and more easily. As well as connectors for Adobe InDesign and the WoodWing, CCI, alfa Media and vjoon editorial systems, DC-X now also works with the Hermes 11 editorial system from Atex.

Another new feature is automatically generated email reports for status changes and for important new incoming messages. Version 1.8.0 of the DC-X Media Asset Management System is available now.
