While trying to start a career as a composer and a musician, Ole Olsen studied Economics at Hamburg University. A student job at the Hamburger Morgenpost provided him a first insight into the art of newspaper production. After he graduated, he created the consulting agency Beo Software, helping publishers to optimize their production processes. In 1991, he founded Digital Collections together with two partners and has been its CEO and main shareholder ever since. His hobbies are his family, golfing and music making.
